Stomp commander Ron Fay has once again exodused his city of La Villa Strangiato, this time moving the mobile metropolis to Pawanallpa in the Broken Lands. Based on what appears to be the beginning of sovereignty being set up around the city, it appears that Fay made the move at least five days ago.
Pawanallpa has played host to the fiercest battles in the Broken Lands to date, as Agalloch, Valdorum and HumanResources all have cities in and around the region. While these Stomp players have reportedly put up tenacious resistance to oncoming SIN sieges, their isolation from Stomp’s power base in Elgea has made it impossible for the upstart alliance to adequately defend its BL-based brethren.
Ron Fay’s La Villa Strangiato, however, could be a game-changer for Stomp in their BL campaign. Fay is a top-20 Illyriad player who played a pivotal role in razing He-Man in the deserts of Land Larosh. He is a player who knows how to build and wield troops, and could not only provide siege-breaking assets to Stomp in Pawanallpa, but could also offer siege support against vulnerable regional targets, such as Death’s cities.
The city of La Villa Strangiato has had a fascinating journey in the war. After starting in the Newlands at the onset of the war (where it had likely exodused from Elgea), Fay exodused it back to Elgea in order to avoid a TVM siege. From that point, the city was all but forgotten, as battles in Elgea and the Broken Lands shifted the war focus elsewhere. Fay’s move to slip the town into Pawanallpa unnoticed represents a fascinating and potentially game-changing move for Stomp that could usher in more Stomp BL exoduses.

howl’s moving castle lol
