Following the loss of ajqtrz2’s city of Elgoria 2 BH-B2 earlier, HIGH appears to be on the counter-offensive. In a bid to even the score, HIGH’s unbeliever has landed a siege on B!B player Rosie Blackeye’s city of Just Chillin‘ in The Long White.
The siege announcement hit the Herald’s siege section this morning:

Unbeliever is a veteran player with assets in the Broken Lands. He was affiliated with Wheel of Time [WoT], an alliance that AJ purportedly has close ties with and who supports his anti-land claim position. Given that unbeliever joined HIGH on June 29th, his move may have been directly related to supporting AJ’s campaign against B!B.
At present, very little is known about this operation, except for that it is still unaccompanied by a blockade, and the siege has been placed on arctic plains. As the Times has explained in previous reporting, plains favor cavalry, which affords defenders use of the fastest attack units in the game and gain a 50% bonus when hitting units on flatlands. In addition, the location of the siege in an arctic region could also allow defenders to utilize the arctic college building for an increased multiplier.
The lack of a blockade will also make HIGH’s counter-siege more challenging, as Rosie will be able to pipe in basic resources to keep the city population above razing population.
Unbeliever’s siege is yet another example of an aggressive military posture that AJ and his embattled alliance has taken since the outset of his conflict with B!B, which is increasingly seen as an addendum to the current Stomp/Claimers war.
