DRIVE-BY SIEGES: AJ Lashes Out Directly At Shogun in Fresh Siege

HIGH commander and anti-claim movement thought leader ajqtrz has been mounting a vigorous, high profile counter-offensive on B!B after losing a city two days ago, today fielding two sieges of his own. The second, most recent siege attempt will pit AJ against B!B leader Shogun no Yari in a mano e mano match-up.

The Herald posted the new details of the siege:

Player Under Siege: Shogun no Yari [B¦B] City: Renegade Mountain [263|-2732] in The Orken Coast Sieger: ajqtrz [HIGH] Date/Time: Wed 15 Jul 15:59

Earlier, the Times noted that AJ’s first siege on B!B commder Rosie Blackeye’s city of Blade Abbey was no longer present on the tactical map. An anonymous comment on the Times surmised that the siege had been broken, but the Times editorial staff could not independently verify the outcome of the siege. However, cotters were observed at the scene of the battle salvaging crafted weaponry, suggesting that the siege must have met with some B!B opposition.

For AJ’s current siege, he has placed his siege army on a small hill next to the city. From a terrain perspective, the small offers a near-neutral modifier for most units, making cavalry a still-viable siege breaking force, but not nearly as effective on plains. At present, these is no accompanying blockade.

  1. As a casual observer of the B¦B/HIGH war I am excited to see such aggressive behavior from HIGHs side in response to the recent siege/raze. At the beginning I had major concerns about this being a one sided war, it is good for to see HIGH managing to go on the offensive as well.

  2. The term drive-by siege is a worthy term. I was not even allowed to bear witness to this….remarkable siege. It was dealt with before I even came online. As for being a “vigorous, high profile counter-offensive”….well, I can do nothing but laugh heartily. Nevertheless, I applaud the efforts of HIGH, their diplomatic assault is one I respect. I await to see the fruition of the training we all received under the battle-hardened eyes of Night’s Squires.

  3. “Curbstomping” ?! Now that is such an underused word these days. Good to see some leaders stepping out and giving the Times a comment or two.
