The first siege to lead HIGH’s counter-offensive after the loss of ajqtrz2’s city of Elgoria 2 BH-B2 at the hands of B!B siege engines now has accompaniment. After HIGH’s unbeliever initiated a purportedly catapult-less siege on Rosie Blackeye’s city of Just Chillin‘ in The Long White back on the 14th, he has now doubled down, setting up a secondary siege on the same city:
Player Under Siege: Rosie Blackeye [B¦B] HIGH City: siege fail part 3 [189|-3271] in The Long White Sieger: unbeliever [HIGH] Date/Time: Fri 17 Jul 05:28
Rosie has been renaming the city “siege fail part __” to troll HIGH, ostensibly calling them out for what she feels to be a poor showing in the field.
Thanks to a report sent to the Times, we can report that the original siege reported on indeed lacks catapults, and has not been reducing the city. The full report will not be posted due to the ongoing nature of this battle. It is unknown if unbeliever’s second siege contains siege engines.
Siege armies without catapults do have strategic value in battle. In incidences where a player might have ample siege equipment in a city but a small storming force, another player or city will often send a secondary siege with a large storm force but no catapults to storm the city once the first siege reduces the population. Additionally, multiple sieges can take additional shots at storming a city, so long as all of their storm populations have been reached.
Whether this is unbeliever’s plan remains to be seen. Currently, both sieges stand on plains, and the city is still not blockaded.

Sigh… only Rosie and her scouts know the truth. On another note, I see the poll is heavily tilting in favor of B!B/HIGH war being part of the land claim war. So when do we make it onto the score card? If you guys think that would unfairly pad the score in favor of land claimers, think again. At the moment HIGH is head and shoulders above Stomps in terms of effort (even if execution has been somewhat… lacking).
