A new siege has begun in the Stomps/claimers war, once again targeting Josh, this time in the High Hills region. The Times noted the initiation of the new siege in GC, and confirmed it later in the Herald’s siege section:
[11:49]<System> ** News Flash: PublicRelations’ [Stomp] legendary city of Untamed Generousity is now under siege by Thorgrim’s [SIN] burgeoning city of Karak Hirn
In addition to Thorgrim’s single siege — his first of the war — SIN also has a blockade set up as well. Both the blockade and siege have been placed in small forests, which favor infantry and the dwarven race. It is likely that Thorgrim was chosen for the siege due to its terrain, and that SIN and Stomps will look to utilize dwarven infantry heavily in this battle. PublicRelations is also a dwarf and will benefit from the terrain if he is building and using infantry.
Since Josh’s controversial entrance into the Stomp/claimers war, he has been a constant target by SIN, particularly due to his large cities, many of which were placed relatively close to SIN military assets. Josh has reportedly used elite striking units to whittle down blockades and sieges, though the effectiveness of that tactic remains to be seen, as he has already lost two cities in previous sieges,HumanResources’ Smile and Wave, which was razed by DasDwarf [SIN] on July 10, 2015, and PublicRelations’ Inconspicuously Charming, razed by Tink XX on July 20, 2015.
If Josh loses the siege at Untamed Generousity, it will be his third loss, tieing him with Agalloch/Elfs Bane for total city losses in the war. It will also be the 9th raze of a Stomps city. Stomps did manage to benefit from a needed reprieve in razes recently, when Aesir member Kendig dropped out of his alliance to break a Death siege on Agalloch’s city of Paranoid. Rumors abound that Kendig is sat by Agalloch, but those reports have not been confirmed by the Times.

And still no sign of Waldo err. PICO. Has he been involved in any military move yet?
