Fighting in the Stomps/claimers war has continued in the wake of Pico’s surrender statement on the Illyriad Forums, suggesting that the war is not yet over. Pico made the statement at 15:54 ST yesterday, and was followed by a gracious statement by SIN’s Stukahh a few hours later, congratulating those in Stomp who fought against SIN in the Broken Lands:

The members of SIN and Stomp seemed to have alot of fun in the process. I am proud to see that the 2 main wars in BL history have both resulted in very fair peace agreements. The Hashashin strive to keep BL a hotspot for pvp. Keeping war fun and the terms of surrender light are key.

The Times observed that these siege forces have not at the time of writing been recalled, despite Pico’s close proximity to the battlefied. In fact, he has continued bombardment and reduced the city’s population to zero after his surrender statement.
Down in the Broken Lands, SIN was continuing their assault on Ron Fay and his alt Odoacer, in spite of having returned to his permanent alliance Shark. Six sieges have set up on two of Ron’s recently exodused towns:

The Times caught an exchange between TheBillPN and SIN warrior He-Man in GC that indicated that Stomps has possibly yet to fulfill all of SIN’s surrender terms, which appears to include disbanding the upstart land claim-fighting alliance:

If He-Man’s statement is true, then it would seem that the Stomps/Claimers war is still not concluded.

Can’t blame SIN on this one. Stomps used some shady tactics at times. HR/PR attacking sieges when he was in another alliance and the Kendig account being used while in Aesir for example. I can see why there might be skepticism on the part of SIN.

That would be why you are already looking for a rematch? But know and understand this. Grudges don’t die in Illyriad. They just re spawn year after year. So as you try to charm everyone in GC,there is someone from your past plotting to burn you and your mates off the server.

Apparently, the dissolving of Stomps is a term and that hasn’t happened yet. How hard is it to click the quit alliance button? For you Stomp guys, it’s on the bottom of the alliance profile. You should know that…you left Shark and others because those alliances don’t have the stomach to get publicly involved.

Stomp has not fulfilled their terms of surrender. The terms were extremely light. All we asked is for them to disband fully. No cities were asked of. No gold or adv res was asked for.
Keep in mind this alliance was formed with the intent to attack and destroy land claim alliances. They have been the aggressor. We could have been the terms more damaging as in past conflicts. However, in BL we want to encourage pvp. One way to do that is to not cripple players with harsh surrender terms.
Once Stomp fully disbands are siege operations will be recalled. We will happily uphold our end of the bargain once Stomp complies with their end of the agreement.

Hmm that is sad =/ I don’t care for other peoples grudges on me, that is their headache if they want to get rid of me.. Hopefully they will do it with some honesty
