Holy Storm Company’s [Storm] leadership council has voted down Mjölnir’s plans to declare war on YARR and attempt to force a surrender, the Times has learned. The fallout from the council’s decision has led Mjo to abruptly quit Storm and retire to nCrow.
By early Thursday morning, news had spread throughout the server that Storm leadership decided to not back Mjölnir’s threats made to Ranalos in a PC on Tuesday that if YARR did not make peace in its war with TUF within 24 hours, that he would “do it by force.”
After the Times broke the exclusive story of Mjo’s threat on Wednesday, it was initially believed that the threat had been made with full backing of Storm leadership. Later revelations in GC revealed that the threat had been made without council support after Mjo admitted:
[15:32]<.Mjölnir.> I am not storm council sir…only 1 player
Public opinion against Storm’s intervention in the YARR/TUF war swelled yesterday after the Times story broke. In an exclusive Times poll, an overwhelming 85% of readers believed that if Storm entered the fray, it would constitute a “dogpile:”
YARR leader Ranalos, along with other stalwart alliance members such as Curmudgeon, Drax the Destroyer, Princess Botchface, Jax, Josh, and others, refused to back down to the threats, and steadfastly defended their position publicly yesterday, as TUF leaders Agalloch and viperone joined Mjo in a tense, day-long standoff in GC, pending the Storm council’s decision.
As the 24-hour threat period came and went with Storm opting to remain on the sidelines in the YARR/TUF war, Mjölnir quit the alliance, ostensibly over disagreements with the decision. He has since moved his account to nCrow.

Yes sure jumping in on an alliance that had been at war for several weeks and had several armies marching back and forth to elgea thousands of squares away, it takes a lot of cojones to do that!!!
And you name yourself Sun Tzu now if you said it was smart of them to attempt to take out a weaken enemy it be a different thing, they are just opportunistic.

Why are complaining about us being at war with you?
“What would a one versus one accomplish when your whole alliance cant take me out how stupid are you??”
You complain about “dog piling” what a joke.
And before I mistaken your talking as Dsasa’s, now I just think you are him.

YARR!
And we shall not tremble when the storms out in the sea threaten to sink our ships. For our ships hold courage, our cages hold parrots and we have an eye-patch on one eye. It be deserts, jungles, or arctic land… The Pirate Republic will take your hand…… and if you’re lucky, it will turn into a HOOK?
