In spite of the recent drama surrounding TUF relating to Mjo’s move to bring Storm into the war on their behalf and the permabanning of AJ, the BL-based military alliances continues to put impressive defensive stands against YARR, once again breaking a siege.
TUF officials shared details of the siege operation against Karl, which included two siege camps. The siege headed by Muad’Dib was broken at 08:04 today by Viperone. Later in the day, the second siege led by Curmudgeon was recalled, with the last catapult volley firing at 14:26. Currently, a blockade remains on the city.

The use of T1 cavalry to defend a siege may appear unusual, however, with all of the squares around Karl’s city being cracked plains, the use of light cavalry is not completely wasted.
For the War Score Card, viperone will be issued the siege break. TUF now leads 6 to 3 in scoring, with 4 unanswered siege breaks.

I disagree.
Troops are troops and if you can get them somewhere to complete a task or make a task easier, they should be utilized. In this case they were not completely useless, but not very useful either.

Using cav for defense is a desperation move… Means you have no other troops… And yes it’s a very inefficient use of cav.
