A leading YARR warrior has apologized ahead of time TUF’s Gwendalynn for attempting to raze her city of Cow Palace. Earlier, YARR officials noted the landing of Curmudgeon’s siege forces in Pawanallpa:

YARR officials explained to the Times that the operation against Gwen is designed to further challenge TUF’s ability to defend its position in Pawanallpa, stating that YARR ” . . . will take opportunities where we can, TUF up to now has only had to defend against 1 siege at a time, this will be the time where we get to see how they handle 2 sieges at once.”
Lead sieger Curmudgeon, however, struck a more mollifying note in separate comments to the Times for attacking what they perceive to be a “popular” player:
Prior to Yarr! sieging Gwendalynn we openly apologised for attacking a popular Illy player, but explained that her ongoing attacks, diplomatic actions and thieving against Yarr’s smaller and less active members in particular could no longer be ignored.
We stated that we enjoy a friendly game but that friendly requires both give and take.
We would hope, but not necessarily expect that Gwen will acknowledge that Curmudgeon in particular asked her repeatedly to stand aside from the war if she did not wish to be involved.
TUF leader Agalloch has not immediately responded to Gwendalynn being sieged, but stated in earlier remarks in comments on the Times: “lmfao . . . for those of you that cant read between the lines what the above means is that they have failed to even clear our exoed towns in pawan from troops and we cant even dodge and so they … they what? ….. ask them :)”

Respect for a previously peaceful player who got conned into war by Agalloch is not fear or whatever spin Aga wants to pitch it as. We have only attacked TUF leaders until now while they have hit our smaller members and those who asked to be non-combatants. Anyone who has not caught on to Aga’s BS by now and is still in whatever TUF is called today can expect to be targetted if Aga declines to label them as non-combatants.Of other interest is how many troops Gwen held back for her own defense and never helped her alliance with.

How can an alliance member be “conned” into participating in a war when that alliance was ATTACKED? There would BE no war except for YARR’s opportunistic attack on an aliiance already depleted by our conflict with Dlords.
No one in TUF was “conned” into anything. We play together because we like each other. Period. You don’t like Agalloch, fine. We do, so we fight with him.
And the whole “non combatant” controversy. Our non combatants dropped out of the alliance at the start of the Dlords war. If YARR wanted non combatant status they had EVERY opportunity to have their non combatants do the same.

Love the spin Yarr tries to put on things but smart players will always know the truth.. Respect for a peaceful player includes razing her towns (plural) out of Pawa? This was a Deathmonger’s issue with Gwen that predates Curm. Gwen is a cool player who helps newbies and others before herself. Being told to move out of your alliance ‘or else” is actually bullying by definition: and remember bullying is a perception hence what one person sees may be different than another. It is what it is, purely revenge on a nice person. Seems the trend these days Illy becoming Evony.

1 town razed after many weeks of asking her not to war unless she was sure it was what she wanted. No threats, just an open offer of her being in a training alliance would be cool with us.

Ken’s angle has some validity as he doesn’t know the whole story and is a sucker for the party line. Viper’s is a little more upsetting since we spent the previous hours in PC and i was mug enough to think it was genuine. You can’t have it as Gwen is a cool newbie helper AND give us grief for hitting back when she or her sitter uses the account to use magic, thieves troops against 3 city players etc for many weeks without us hitting back. The Gwen account has cast spells on 20+ Yarr! cities, thieved at least ten and killed in excess of 10K troops while being asked repeatedly to desist. Diplomacy is done. Her city fell in 14 hours despite holding back troops for her own use that would have helped Agalloch and others defend.

If you thieve and blight, you get burned. I agree with what Curm says that you can’t have it both ways.
There have been plenty of wars, and in most of them non-combatants got time to move out of the alliance before things get rough. In other cases it was allowed to use certain ranks for non-coms, and those were respected, as long as no action of any kind was taken against the other side.
I’m not talking about sending resources, that’s always allowed in my book.

Did peoples reading/comprehension scores just drop to the moron level? I never complained that razing Gwen was in some way unfair, its a war. I complained that Curm is a lying piece of crap who for some reason has to try to look like the good guy when in fact he and YARR are the agressors.
