The Pirate Republic [YARR!] appears to be on a roll in its ongoing war with BL military alliance TUF, racking up its third successful siege in less than two weeks. A YARR player provided the Times with proof of the successful operation, which ended in a capture:

For Curmudgeon, it is his second straight successful siege of the war.
Little is known about the arc of this battle, and to what degree TUF defended the city. The siege set up on midnight May 29, and took roughly 30 volleys to complete. YARR officials noted that the most vigorous defense came from smash himself. “Really our hats are off to Smash, that was a build strategy through a siege we really were confounded on, very great work,” said YARR. “Very fun for us, looking forward to the next round. Defensively we absorbed a lot of elite armies, and some bigger armies on their part to defend the town.”
TUF has not communicated with the Times on the siege loss.
For TUF, this is the third straight unanswered siege loss in a war that began with impressive defensive stands headed by leader Agalloch. The string of losses may point to flagging troop counts in TUF, who may be finding it difficult to compete with YARR in replentishing troop counts.
