SIN has established its first siege operation against TUF since The Unfettered declared war amid rogue SIN siege ops on Josh. The new siege, which is taking place in Shardlands, is anchored by SIN’s stalwart sieger OleBlacklord:

Both siege camps are taking advantage of small forests to the southeast and southwest of the city. There is still no blockade on the city.
Blacklord is one of only a few remaining veteran dwarves in SIN who have integral to the alliance’s success. Recently, SIN she-dwarves Tink XX and Janadorf both abandoned their accounts, while Goldy1 defected to TUF.
RE Jumps Into Fray With Block Break on Elgean TUF Siege
TUF has tripled down on its list of current enemy combatants, declaring war on Roman Empire [RE] after veteran RE dwarf Blaxx Stoneaxe reportedly sought to break a blockade on a besieged YARR position in Elgea. The TUF siege, which is curiously being anchored by once SHARK/Unbow co-leader Spektor, is still on the siege board in the Herald:

According to a report in the Illyriad Telegraph, TUF declared on RE after the blockade break attempt by Blaxx. Frustration boiled on in GC yesterday:

The testy dialogue brings up the issue of whether YARR, SIN, and RE are in fact coordinating efforts to exterminate TUF or not. YARR and RE are indeed confederated, which might explain RE’s willingness to attempt a blockade break. However, SIN has no formal affiliation with either YARR or RE, though confederation was offered to SIN by YARR, and the dialogue above suggersts that SIN leader Jejune is part of YARR’s Slack account.
For his part, Ranalos claimed that “SIN doesn’t even talk to me.”
At present, the Times will keep the YARR/TUF and TUF/SIN wars separate, and while there is a war declaration between TUF and RE, no War Score Card will be established until or unless sieges are established in that conflict. If new developments suggest a widening war, the Times may eventually consolidate War Score Cards.
The Illyriad Times 
Jejune was on our slack for about a day a couple of weeks ago. It became quite clear quite quickly that he was there to promote SINs interests. He has not been back since, I sent him a private message via our slack asking him if he checks it, he has not replied and I have not seen him online.
SIN has her own interests and long ago disavowed the concept of confederations.
RE, much to their credit, was honoring their conferation despite the obvious risks by helping us get that player out of Elgea, nothing further was asked of them.

LMAO! Glad Tuf declared on RE. These alliances supporting pile on warfare need to be destroyed. Yarr is the worst, calling in more alliances into a war they started.YOU are the reason Illy is dying. Nobody wants to war because they fear more alliances joining in. I might not have much to lose but I’ll give it all I got to help Aga fight you sheeple in your popularity contest.

Wars will not kill Illyriad. Of course, it’s obvious you will believe anything if you toss out the term ‘sheeple’. You know nothing about the Roman Empire, or at least I doubt you do as I’ve never heard of you. As I’ve stated in a comment in another article here, best of luck to our adversaries in TUF and I hope that we may all find glory in battle, win or lose.
Now on to the unpleasantness: the propensity of TUF to pull in combatants from multiple alliances mentioned in quotes in THIS VERY ARTICLE is evidence either of your hypocrisy or your ignorance. Literally less than a week ago a member of TUF was asking for Rome to join this war on their behalf. I find nothing wrong with TUF asking for our help nor with Yarr doing the same. Or is it only bad if your enemies seek aid in a war? To paraphrase Trivium’s old alliance page, ‘players should not be afraid of war in Illyriad.’

As a side note, since TUF are The HashBrowns now, I am referring internally to the broader conflicts involving TUF as The Breakfast Wars. For our part, I am calling it The Jentaculum-Roma War (The Breakfast-Rome War). I sincerely hope this catches on!

I didn’t say wars are killing Illy. I said you people piling on others in wars is whats killing Illy, hence the lack of wars until recent. Of which are all pile ons, And if you don’t think Illy is dying maybe go look at all the inactives and abandoned vets. Yes i do know about RE and Zynot lol. The only glory in this war will be when Tuf wins. Because there is no honor in fighting someone while they are already at war (hence Dlords peace). Bringing people into your alliance to help is not a cowardly surprise attack like yours. And there is no harm in asking for help, but helping someone who already has an advantage is a pussy move. @streitaxt Again, best of luck to you. Your alliance has declared on us and we intend to fight, win or lose. An attack to clear a siege on our confederate should not be considered a surprise attack. In the past, when I have been involved in wars, I have considered what alliances my enemy was confederated with and weighed that when attacking. We have a signed agreement with Yarr and several others which some in your alliance certainly know about. You should not be surprised that we honored a request from them to help one of their members Exodus, just as our leaders weren’t surprised by the war declaration that came in response. I have no problem with the majority of you and even have a fondness for certain members of your alliance. I see no reason to descend into this sort of demagoguery, to call us cowardly in an attempt to win public favor. Attacks on the character of alliances and their members only serve to further increase tensions. To quote your alliance page: “…You wanted WAR you GOT IT!!!” We accept that sentiment, and I believe that most in your alliance do as well.
It’s a game and the majority of us are eager to play it. The number of active players have not dropped much in the past 2 years by any metric I can find, and the majority of those veterans who I’ve personally known to leave often do so not because of fear of large wars but because of personal/time constraints in real life. If wars are not fought to achieve wholesale annihilation of individual accounts, they rarely result in abandonment. I personally believe the best conclusion is that wars, even large ones, that do not attempt to remove entire accounts can help achieve a more active user base. Good luck and have fun to all in TUF

Fuck you and you’re cowardliness, I call you and your alliance cowards because you are. Grow a damn pair and admit when you are in the wrong. Even if you don’t stop it takes a man to admit it and not attempt to justify their actions with lies and hypocritical statements. At least Tuf can admit they like to talk shit, you guys act like you’re all sophisticated and mighty even though you have the personality of a piss soaked towel. 423 players on now, this time last year i rarely ever seen it below 550. I know many many people who have quit the game because multiple people attacked them unfairly, because of popular opinions. People who have left because the lack of fair warfare. People that left because there is rarely any war (because people are afraid to get pile on by multiple alliances. I know many alliance leaders who wouldn’t attack or declare war because they would be crushed with confeds. You need to get that jiz out of your eyes and see you are the thing that is wrong with Illy.

The article and comments mentioned players quitting the game based on war activities, either lack of or too much of. I was articulating my reasons for leaving. The Global Chat in the game tends to have conversations on a fifth grade level more and more recently despite the game having a 13 year old age minimum. Nothing I said has anything to do with whether or not you like me, “Williams”. If you want to baby talk and gaga googoo all day, you can now do that without my protest. I’m sure as many people have left the game for similar reasons to why I did than did because of reasons related to wars. The baby talkers now rule chat, so you shouldn’t be complaining because I quit the game because of players like you. You should be happy that got what you want! The people who I wanted to like me did like me, and my goal was never for the baby talkers to like me… I am pretty sure I made that obvious. Your dislike of me warms my heart!
