nCrow member .Mjölnir.’s alt account is persona non grata, which was dropped out of TUF and used to form a new alliance at war with SIN just ahead of a second siege, the Times has learned. SIN officials provided proof to the Times of persona non grata’s identity, as well as previous correspondence indicating that he might in fact be considering rage quitting after being targeted twice by SIN sieges.
However, it appears that the account instead has been used to set up a proxy war with SIN. persona non grata established the warrior’s way [way] on 14 Jul 2016 00:58, and declared war on The Hashashin on 15 Jul 2016 at 05:00. way currently has no diplomatic relations with TUF.
In a message to SIN that was provided to the Times, persona non grata explained (the following is a paraphrase by the Times) that he had joined TUF out of friendship with Agalloch and other players and suggested that he never had any intention to go to war with SIN, RE, or YARR. TUF declared war on SIN on 26 Jun 2016 03:47, while Mjo put his alt into TUF on 28 Jun 2016 20:34 two days after, calling into question the veracity of persona’s statement.
Persona also clearly stated that he was leaving TUF so as not to put them in a position for continued failure in war.

Goldy1 Re-Defects Back to SIN
Adding intrigue to the TUF/SIN war, Goldy1 has re-defected back to SIN after seemingly defecting to TUF in an undisclosed row with the Hashashin.
In comments to Eowan the Short on the illyriad Telegraph, Goldy1 stated that he had never in fact defected from SIN, but instead took the opportunity to eavesdrop on TUF after he was invited: “Well Ewon, if anyone truly believed I was in TUF to fight STUK, Heman, JJ and Chand along with the rest of SIN, you obviously have more issues and need to get your head examined. I have battled next to STUK since the great wars and I’ll never turn my back on him or SIN,” Goldy said, adding, “Also let it be clear I did this in my own, it was not approved by SIN. ALSO let it be known that I did NOT approach TUF and ask to join, THEY asked me.”
TUF leader Agalloch, however, rejected Goldy1’s claim that he was invited, replying, “I didnt ask you for shit, you aproached me and offered to share scout reports now if josh asked you to join that is cause you stated your goal was to fight sin so go suck some goat balls bitch and fuck off.”
Goldy1 retorted that he has IGMs to prove otherwise.
RE Loses to TUF Again
Roman Empire continued its losing streak against TUF in the early going of its war. A report in the Telegraph noted that the siege on Ppiotr’s city of Pir Urbas, which was only briefly in place, was broken by his alt, Ppjotr, on July 14, 2016.
In comments to the Telegraph, RE leader Patience King appears to downplay the loss as a siege operation that was perhaps a precursor to a larger plan. At present, there are no other RE sieges posted in the siege section of The Herald.

Agalloch is the bad penny of the Broken Lands. He’s worth a pittance but he keeps turning up.
AianNick, your main skill was hunting on my sov and crying about harvesting kills. Perhaps you need something new to cry about; I certainly need something new to hunt.

Ten Kulch my friend, why should i use my stals for hills and mountains? na na na… bullshit bingo:)

That is such a brainless statement, I can’t even tell if you are being sarcastic or not. If I had to clear a mountain or large hill siege, stalwarts or fangs would be my #1 choice. Their only drawback is speed. The only other unit I’d rank as a great option would be sentinels, because they are so cheap to rebuild, and the battle favors archers as well as infantry.
Stalwarts are a relatively powerful attack unit on mountains: +5% attack on small, +15% attack on large. They are far superior (in attack per build time) to Elven trueshots when attacking small mountains, and slightly better on large mountains. They might actually be the best unit for attacking mountains overall.
Stalwarts are also an excellent choice for attacking large hills, due to high attack per build minute, and terrain penalties undermining cavalry.

Generally I provide the meat shields for a siege, but for TUF it seems I will make an exception.
