SIN-turned-TUF-turned-SIN member Goldy1 completed a siege on Dsasa’s Mar-Yhain, capturing the city less than 24 hours after the siege landed. SIN officials shared proof of the capture to the Times:

Original Message:
Mar-Yhain, belonging to Dsasa which was located at 234|-3163 has been captured by Goldy1.
For SIN, it is the third successful siege operation for them against TUF, with Deo Volente razing PublicRelations’ city of 3 – Legion! Legion who? on June 27, 2016. and OleBlacklord’s destroying persona non grata’s city of publi city on July 5, 2016. (OleBlacklord’s raze of persona non grata’s city of atro city on July 16, 2016 is not counted, as TUF had dropped the account for that siege.) They have yet to lose a siege.
In a message to the Times, Jejune noted heavier fighting on this siege operation than any of the previous three. “They hit us with about 250,000 troops” he said in his message to the Times. “But at a certain point they turned off the spigot. We were happy with the battles but had hoped they’d send more to hit the camps — we had planned on seeing 500K+ troops from them.”
TUF warrior AinNick sought to get in front of the successful SIN siege by noting in a comment on the Times, “We can only congratulate Sin in their spectacular siege maneuver. Dsasa s city was not protected by troups, we only concentrated to reduce some enemy troups. let s do the real deals and not kindergarten sieges on not relevant targets… but i understand Sin, they need any success now to keep up their reputation:)”
SIN, however, has argued that Dsasa’s account is active, posting in a comment on the Times leaked activity from TUF’s Slack account obtained by Goldy1 from July 1 showing him chatting. SIN also provided with its recent capture report a series of battle reports obtained by Goldy1 during his time in TUF showing large attacking forces on the Dsasa account being used against RE’s vgsrhhheth dated July 6 and 8, respectively:

From: System Cavalry comes into its own when able to strike hostile forces at will, and from unexpected directions – and nowhere is this more feasible than on open plains. Lightly armoured spear units, however, prefer terrain where there’s some cover available. Fighting defensively on open plains, cavalry draws strength from the ability to form and reform their lines of engagement depending on the direction of battle, and it is here where cavalry excels.

An earlier comment by Agalloch’s alt Elfs Bane suggested that Dsasa was being sat: “We hope SIN continues to waste troops on a sat account like dsasa, thanks for setting up on a forest guys!!!
Keep up the good work!!!!” The fact that the city did not exodus away from the SIN siege could suggest that the account was indeed being sat, though it also appears that TUF wanted the SIN siege to set up and progress, looking to pick up favourable terrain bonuses for its attacks.

as i said in the old message. i congrat Sin for the easy hunt. we concentrated on destroying some easy Sin camps, not more. not a big story as made up above, but i am sure Sin needs any success now:) even if it s taking a city where Tuf never put one troup in to defend. LOL

It is clear to me that TuF are great on the talk and getting the GC idiots to support them, but to be honest, the war is very young and so far it seems very similar to the Shark/ VIC war where outside support and help to the anti-SIN was huge yet in the end it did not help. The trash talking and name calling is boring now. Taking out sat accounts and their troops with disposable troops is something SIN does well. TuF can trash talk all they like but the fact is Dassa account is being used and is producing troops thus it is a legit target

Great on the talk but nothing else? I think you need to pull your head out of your ass and do a quick count on the herald page buddy or even better ask ten kulch to give you a rough estimate of the troops used and lost from both sides in the conflict so far which as you said hasnt even started yet …

Aga, here is my rough count: total casualties in SIN-TUF haven’t reached even a single hard fought siege in SIN-Unbow. During a few of the big battles, SHARK and VIC lost almost a half million cavalry, and SIN lost almost two million defenders, including a lot of t2. The desert battle with He-Man was enormous. Total casualties for the whole war were probably in the 25M range. Granted, we fought for the better part of a year.
You guys popped 0.5M kobolds and lost 0.2M attackers on my invasion, and casualties on the Dsasa siege don’t seem much worse (although I have not closely tracked tallies).
In other words, we are at 4% of SIN-Unbow. That’s very generously counting kobolds the same as halbardiers and trueshots. If this war runs with the same intensity, we should all expect about 20-25x the current casualties before this is over. I’m prepared for that, and I know most of my comrades are prepared for that as well.

Umm not sure why you are comparing those two conflicts they have nothing in common other than some of the same players , my original comment was to troops being used especially from aian/thor that kaggen said was not doing anything other than talk and you also seem to forget that we have been warring for several months while you guys been on a spring break for several months now … so its to be expected you be on the offensive more than we are lets not get carried away here ok?
A bit similar to how you guys attacked SHARK after they had been involved in a war with TVM maybe next time SIN can find an enemy that hasnt been at war for several months and can actually fight on an even level but we know that not how illy works dont we?
You gotta love those rogue elements …..

In illy warfare, all that matters is who is left standing 18 months from now.
I have been at war with 31 alliances in my tenure in the game. TUF ranks near the bottom quartile in that list if ranked according to “TUFness”
SIN will methodically dismantle TUF as each month progresses.
Business as usual for us….

Does that mean you were finally able to find your own ass?
