SIN is regularly touted as being the superior fighting force in Illyriad, with a deep knowledge of the game’s military mechanics. However, in a new siege, TUF has showed up the so-called military leaders, discovering an impressive exploit that is allowing them to siege what is otherwise an unsiegable city in Calumnex.
The Herald’s siege section is reporting the siege on SIN Durbag Snubub:
| Durbag Snubub [SIN] | Steel Panther | [545|-2912] in Calumnex | kaven [TUF] | Fri 19 Aug 13:04 |

If you click on the squares around the city, with the exception of one plains square to the northeast, all of the other squares are impassible, not allowing you to send an army. However, TUF has done what seems to be the impossible, and has a siege and two blockades set up on the north, southeast, and southwest.
Since yesterday, the battle siege has changed. The siege to the north appears to have either left, since there is no discernible way to attack the sieges — the Times tried to target an army on the camps and there were no options other to center in the map.
Now, the new siege picture looks like this (right):
The times will continue to attempt to collect information on what’s going on with this siege, where TUF appears to have set up undefeatable sieges and blocks.

Exploits in the game mechanics are not allowed but with the activity level of the devs no one really cares. Well done to tuf for for exploiting it and shame on the devs for once again showing their commitment level to this game. I suggest a sin and tuf merge to take this game into a final play to force this game into a war that will either a melt down or a revival

First off, this is a brilliant idea. May I suggest the combined alliance be called STUFIN? 😀
Second, the trend of the game is quite clear. Not enough dedicated new players are joining to keep up with the number of existing players quitting due to boredom and a lack of development. Rather than waiting for boredom to take us one by one, I propose a course of action that will serve to both enliven the server and maybe, just maybe, get the attention of the devs:
A server-wide war against any alliances that still engage in dev(il) worship, defined as those alliances that reference Stormcrow (i.e. “crow”) in their name.
These alliances were originally named early on as an homage to Stormcrow, a tribute to the man who created the game. While that is understandable, given how the community and game has been ignored now for YEARS, such a tribute is no longer appropriate at this time.
For crow types who want to avoid taking part in the war, simply rename your alliance to lose the dev worship. Honestly, you should do so anyway to let the devs know you’re unhappy with being ignored (which is better than just eventually quitting, as most of your mates do). If your alliance won’t rename, then leave it.
Of course, those crows who think dev worship is still the way to go…this is a great opportunity for you to take a stand and fight for the devs’ honor. It might even be a great way to die with your boots on, if you’re on the losing end, instead of wasting away as part of the inevitable decline.
Could STUFIN take on the dev worshiping crow alliances and turn them towards a better path? I don’t know…they’d be horribly outmatched in terms of population…but I can’t think of a better way for military players to go out with a bang….

I beg to differ, the devs are opinionated and one-sided at the social level of the game.
It be a perfect merge too, it’ll make the most active of grouped players realize there’s no future for this shit.
