Announcement: B!B Updates Land Claim Policy in Response To SHARK/TVM Conflict

In the light of the recent TVM – SHARK developments we are issuing a statement of change to our land claims policy. Broken Blades consider placement (per exodus, settling, or Tenaril) of a non-B!B city in our land claim without our permission to be an act of aggression against our alliance. Any city that lands in our LC will be sieged, unless the conditions below are fulfilled:

1. A complete proof of no troops present in the city (screenshots of both military page and military movements page) is sent within 24 hours after our first warning.

2. Provided that condition 1 has been fulfilled, B!B will wait for the city to move out of the LC:

For an exodused city, for 48 hours after the exodus cooldown.

For a Tenariled city, for 48 hours after the proof was presented.

3. If the city was settled an exodus or razing arrangement will be negotiated within a 5-day period.

This change in our policy does not apply to players who are unallied or are regular members of the following training alliances:

MOON

HALO

T?

NS

ITG

Q&S

Hogwarts [Hog] and

HOTH

Our standard policy of negotiating with players/alliance leaders on individual basis still applies to these alliances and unallied players.

B!B’s Latest Peace Offer to HIGH

After the raze of Doralia 1, Shogun no Yari approached Ajqtrz with another peace offer:

Dear AJ,

We have come to this point yet again. I, in the name of Broken Blades, offer peace to HIGH. We would have an end to this. We offer no surrender terms. You have stood bravely, where others would have long fled. However, there is a time to fight and a time to make peace. The time for peace is nigh. What say you? This is what was sent to the leader of HIGH from the leader of Broken Blades, Shogun no Yari. The Broken Blades wish an end to this fight that is not a fight. We offer no terms because we believe that enough damage was done. Truly, we wished an end weeks ago. Note that failure to heed this peace offering this time will result in the war status staying up between Broken Blades and HIGH. Despite that, Broken Blades will walk from this war, for HIGH is not worthy. Acceptance will see the war declaration dropped and Broken Blades still walk. We know that some would see us written up as bullies, when we have not done anything to deserve the title. We offered peace before and were denied several times….eloquently…. Know that with this, acceptance or refusal, the Broken Blades/HIGH war is at an end.

The time for peace is when justice rules.  Justice in this case are my surrender terms.  You have them and can surrender at any time.  The war will not end on my side until you do.

You can stop attacking and declare a unilateral armistace as an alternative, and remove your city anytime you wish.  But of course you shouldn’t until you are quite certain I will never be large enough to be a threat.  Good generalship would say that.  So what does the evidence say?  Will I ever be large enough to be  threat to your supporters?  Will I ever be large enough to take on SIN and the rest of the bullies on the playground by myself?  I have never started a war without cause, and in fact, have never started a war even with cause.  This time instead of lashing out in childish anger, use your reasoning skills to measure my abilities.  I was never a threat to you in the first place yet you. like some immature kid in grade school who has physically grown faster than his classmates and therefore, in a childish display of illogic and emotion, attacks his classmates because he doesn’t like what they were saying, showed your lack of maturity and intellectual courage by chosing to attack me.  If I were in your shoes I’m not sure I’d show my face in Illy at all.  If your arguments for land claims were so strong you wouldn’t have needed your armies.  But your arguments were weak and pathetic, otherwise you wouldn’t have felt the need to attack.

My armies may be weak, but I have the courage to stand against petty tyrants like you.  The questionis is: do you have the courage and strength to admit you didn’t do the right thing here and make it right?

You think that bullying a person is something that you should do?  If we showed up at a local playground and you did there what you did at this playground you’d be arrested and ruin a friendship.  Shame on you.

The saddest part of all this is that sit there thinking you won, when in fact, after Illyriad itself who now seem to have accepted bullies on the playground, you are the next biggest loser.  You and all your allies may “win” all Illyriad in your quest to play a “agressive” game style, but in end you will ruin it just like they did LoU.

You have my terms of surrender.  You can accept them at any time.  Or you can just remove your city, leave and hope I don’t get big enough to try again because this war will not end until justice is done.

So keep pounding away.  The only peace offering I will accept is your surrender with terms I’ve given.

Broken Blades unilaterally declares peace and will not conduct any more military operations against Ajqtrz or any ex-HIGH members unless provoked.

PRESS RELEASE: Peace Deal between Broken Blades and HIGH

In this diplomatic note we wish to publicize the state of affairs between our alliances. Considering that all of HIGH’s key military players but AJ have recently left the alliance, B!B offered AJ white peace without any conditions. We dropped our expectation of an apology for character assassination of land claimers from our deal knowing AJ’s intransigence.

AJ has responded to what we felt was a fair, no strings attached, peace offer, with the following list of demands:

1. B!B surrender.

2. B!B unilaterally compensate AJ for the loss of his cities and troops (none of his allies defending him and powering his sieges were mentioned).

3. B!B renounce their land claim and adopt a declaration of homeland fashioned by AJ.

4. Sir NoneTooBright leaves his home alliance (SIN), moves all of his cities to Almenly and joins HIGH.

We are saddened although not surprised that AJ would not accept our simple terms. Rejection of peace in this fashion is nothing more but another round of trolling that we have come to expect from AJ. In the face of this disrespectful behavior, B!B sees no other choice but continue our military operations until further notice.
