SHARK has managed to successfully raze two of its four sieges against TVM and break another in the ongoing Newlands War, with TVM managing to break two sieges in return. SHARK leadership provided the Times with updates on all of the resolved and still-ongoing sieges, with co-leader Halcyon indicating that while their sieges on Phelony’s Hard Knox and Lorcan’s Kilkenny (two sieges that the Times missed in its reporting) were both broken, the leading Illyriad alliance did successfully raze El Guapo’s Cudillero and mccannj’s Golan Heights:

The Times doesn’t have any details about the degree of fighting at these sieges, however, SHARK clearly made quick work of bringing these two cities down, considering that the Golan Heights siege begun at Wed 21 Oct 12:00, and the Cudillero siege began on Tue 20 Oct 11:48.
In addition to these successful sieges, SHARK also managed to break TVM’s sole siege on them in the region. Halcyon also indicated that the siege on Allyssar’s DiamondIsle, which was being mounted byvgsrhhheth of RE, was also broken, though added that “more attacks and most probably a 2nd siege are inbound.”
The siege on GrrlyOrc’s Bondage Barracks appears to still be ongoing, with both a SHARK siege and blockade in place. The same is true for the dual SHARK siege on Lord Moonpie’s city of Borax.
Thus far, SHARK has once again proven its versatility in successfully fighting in a region where they are otherwise outmatched in terms of cities and potential troop sovereignty, using a mix of local troops and late-breaking hits from Elgea as an impressive one-two punch that TVM has not been able to answer. The War Score Card shows SHARK with a dominating lead, registering more siege breaks (5 to 4) than TVM, who have the predominant city placement in Newlands and Oarnamly. SHARK also has 6 raze/capture victories to DSD south’s 1, which came as a result of an isolated siege in Aindara. SHARK has also managed to spread their 6 successful sieges among 6 separate players, revealing that their enclave in Newlands, while still relatively small, is burgeoning, establishing them as a formidable fighting force in the BL.
