Unbow has posted yet another impressive siege break, freeing one of its co-leaders from the grips of a SIN siege operation that stretched on for multiple days. The Times noted this morning that Spektor’s city of Half Dome had finally shaken off the two siege camps and multiple blockades set up on the plains around the city.
The siege on Half Dome began on April 30th, just on the heels of a siege break on Unbow co-leader BayNights’ city of Cyme, which was broken by massive hits from Moses. The siege on Half Dome seemed to be very similar to that of Cyme and may have been planned as part of the same operation — two siege camps and several blockades.
Recent chatter and comments in the Times, together with several high-profile desertions and defections, have painted Unbow in the throes of its final effort to fend off SIN as it continues its aggressive incursion into Newlands. SIN players have alleged that Unbow co-leaders have held back their troops for their own self-preservation, with Unbow leader Halcyon pushing back against that claim. Regardless, the remaining active players in Unbow have demonstrated that they are still flush with troops in Newlands and have the assets to break large, alliance-wide SIN sieges on plains.
Yet, the siege has been a costly one, with Digioso’s DillyTools revealing that Spektor’s city was reduced from 16,684 population to just over 1,000, losing all of its sovereignty. Unbowed population and land overall has also been in decline, suggesting that the alliance may opt to retreat from Newlands and the surrounding regions.
While it is still unclear if the war is winding down or not, the last two siege breaks are indeed major ones, and gives Unbow much-needed key wins after a long string of losses.

4. Vindemiatrix, belonging to Pehu (Abandoned) which was located at 343|-1882 has been captured by Ngatz.
In spite of Pehu’s cities being an easy target for SIN, VIC has refused to drop the account from the alliance.
