SHARK has racked up its second siege with an impressively planned operation in Meilla against SIN’s Sir Goldielocks. In spite of the town likely being isolated from the reach of SIN siege breaking forces, SHARK pulled out all the stops, setting up five siege armies and two blockades on the highly favorable small hills, mountain, and building tiles around the city.
The following were the siege armies set up against the town:
Sir Goldielocks [SIN] spare me oh mighty SHARK! [-336|108] in Meilla lsxrule [SHARK] Mon 23 Nov 18:36
Sir Goldielocks [SIN] spare me oh mighty SHARK! [-338|107] in Meilla SRT8 [SHARK] Wed 25 Nov 21:33
Sir Goldielocks [SIN] spare me oh mighty SHARK! [-338|106] in Meilla lodi [SHARK] Thu 26 Nov 06:09 Sir Goldielocks [SIN] spare me oh mighty SHARK! [-338|108] in Meilla lodi [SHARK] Thu 26 Nov 06:12
Sir Goldielocks [SIN] spare me oh mighty SHARK! [-337|106] in Meilla SRT8 [SHARK] Thu 26 Nov 06:16
lsxrule picked up the capture, as he arrived on scene first. The city is now named, “We haven’t started yet.”
An anonymous tipster to the Times who claims to have had access to the general army counts of the forces noted that, ” . . . the siege is a host and the blockades are legions. Estimated that the siege engines reduced 200 pop in 1st bombardment.” It is unclear which siege the tipster was referring to, as this tip came into the Times almost a day ago.
Sir Goldielocks changed the town name to “Spare Me Oh Might SHARK!” around the time that the full contingent of siege pieces arrived on the scene. No resistance has been reported or observed.
The siege of Sir Goldielocks was similar to an earlier operation on SIN’s ChuckNorish and shows SHARK’s ability to mount multi-square sieges on targets. However, to this point, SHARK has seemingly held back on this level of planning for other operations in the Broken Lands, focusing instead on engaging He-Man’s desert cities in Kul-Tar.
SHARK-VIC operations continue in the desert against He-Man in the hopes of registering a defeat against the top-ranked defensive player in the game, buoying morale.
