SHARK Players Mark Sinister Star Wipe-out in GC; Pico “Targeting All Sin’s Alts;” Ron Fay Departs

Screen Shot 2015-11-26 at 1.40.16 pmKey metagame activity took place in the contentious war between SIN and SHARK-VIC yesterday, with tempers flaring in GC over the Sinister Star/Venita controversy. SIN has completed its operation against the Sinister Star account — the account’s cities have all been razed and the player relocated to the so-called “newbie ring,” according to the now-abandoned account’s profile. An anonymous tipster who caught some of the action in GC as SHARK went public in acknowledging the loss of fellow member Venita’s once-secret alt, and implicating SIN in what the top-ranked alliance claims was an injustice in decimating her account. It didn’t take long for SIN members to challenge that claim in GC, sparking a confrontation:

[21:25]<Pico> Sinister Star will be missed
[21:25]<Pico> great job razing all her towns
[21:25]<PublicRelations> R.I.P star
[21:26]<PublicRelations> may your light still shine bright in the nightsky
[21:26]<Sir Goldielocks> Thanks Pico
[21:26]<Silent Sword> Great job not razing any of ours.
[21:26]<Sir Goldielocks> I did a great job
[21:26]<heårtless> lmao SS.2
[21:26]<PublicRelations> you should be proud of yourselves… or something
[21:26]<Sir Goldielocks> she is still alive

SIN Razes VIC and SHARK Towns As Siege Count Climbs; SHARK and VIC Sieges Still Firing

Screen Shot 2015-10-01 at 10.11.55 amSIN successfully completed both of their sieges yesterday, registering razes on enemy combatants SHARK and VIC in two very different siege operations. SIN officials provided IGMs of the siege conclusions to the Times:

Io, belonging to Woolfie which was located at 344|-1867 has been razed by Stukahh.

For SIN, these are the 7th and 8th successful siege operations against the SHARK-VIC confederacy, and GC thug Stukahh’s third raze. For Curmudgeon, it is his first time on the siege board.

The “cow girl go go go” raze, likely the result of trolling SIN with a snarky town name just on the edge of their land claim, was just a footnote to the war, as no heavy fighting was reported by any onlookers in the war. For the Io siege, however, VIC did offer up resistance, breaking an early blockade. A comment by SHARK’s Josh also suggests that SHARK assisted in the defense of the city, noting: “Also: ‘VIC destroyed a SIN blockade overnight, server time, using its own forces’….. with help from the pointy fins.”

A second blockade never appeared at the Io siege, but the two siege camps firing were obviously enough to bring the city down.

SHARK and VIC will look to answer these SIN razes with two of their own, as both alliance continue their extended campaigns against Sir Goldielocks and He-Man in Elgea. VIC has completely decimated  He-Man’s city of Lining up VICtims, however, the presence of a wall in a zero-population city suggests that the desert orc may once again be hiding a strong defensive force, keeping the siege force from storming the city and razing it.

Much like SIN’s siege on bertny3, SHARK’s siege on Sir Goldielocks should be a slam dunk for the top-ranked Illy alliance.

Meanwhile, the SIN-Venita drama continues to unfold, with SIN launching yet another coodinated siege on the Sinister Star account, purported to be Venita’s secret alt who joined SIN in September of 2014 and only recently transferred briefly to GATE before being kicked out ahead of these sieges:

Sinister Star Divorced [737|-2346] in Fellandire Sir Goldielocks [SIN] Wed 25 Nov 05:35

It also appears that the previous siege on the Sinister Star account has been completed, as the city “They took it all” is no longer on the map.
