Unbow has mounted a spectacular defense of one its besieged High Hills cities, forcing SIN to once again make what appears to be another tactical retreat. It is now the third recall and failed siege for SIN in five previous consecutive attempts.
The Times witnessed firsthand a major clashing of forces earlier this morning at the battle site of Stephen Stormcrow’s Storm Front, with dozens of what appeared to be SIN and Unbow forces converging on the city. A few hours afterward, SIN could be rapidly recalling its troops from the siege and blockade site.
Currently, only a lone camp on the east side of the city remains.
The rousing defensive stand for Unbow highlights a palpable turnaround for the group since the end of January, when SHARK and VIC both combined their active military accounts into Unbow to fight SIN as a unified force. Now, the alliance shares a striking resemblance to SIN in roster size, sovereignty, and poise.
The rebranding has led to improved defensive performances against SIN, who continue to press the attack. Since the formation of Unbow on January 31, SIN has gone 4 for 8 (50%) on successful sieges, in contrast to their record against SHARK/VIC, which was 15 for 19 (79%). While the new alliance banner has not resulted in more successful sieges for Unbow, their recent campaign against Deimo was decidedly more destructive than previous operations into the SIN land claim.
Currently, SIN’s second siege is still firing on Winnie the Pooh’s city of Kanga’s Pouch, but appears to have struggled to keep blockades in place. The city still has double-digit population.
