Diplomacy Notes: CrAp and SIN Confed; BOOM Returns

The diplomacy section of the Herald posted two noteworthy diplomatic maneuvers, overnight, both of which potentially impact the war action in the Newlands. Ron Fay’s ex- and post-SHARK alliance Chromium Aphid [CrAp] signed a confederacy agreement with SIN.

No Escrow was exchanged.

While Ron moved his main and alt accounts into SIN, two other accounts have remained in that alliance. CrAp has also not changed the details of its land claim policy in Newlands. Requests for comments to SIN on the nature of the agreement were not immediately responded to, but the agreement is like to impact the war landscape in the Newlands in some capacity.

In other intriguing news, Suicide Squad — also known by the ticker BOOM — has been reestablished as an alliance:

Alliance Founded – Suicide Squad [BOOM] Sun 10 Apr 2016

At present, the alliance is headed only by Deo Volente, a player who in the past provoked SHARK. Volante’s cities are all strategically placed throughout the Newlands in so-called “unsiegable” locations. BOOM currently has no other members and no diplomatic relations with any other alliance.

Footnote: Dittobite Reaches 40 Cities

Finally, vCrow leadership contacted the Times to inform us that vCrow Rook Dittobite has reached 40 cities. “Dittobite has reached 40 cities,” stated vCrow co-Rook rupe to the Times. “An achievement worthy of mention don’t you think?”

Josh Leaves Shark, vCrow; HumanResources Account Reportedly Hit SIN Blockades While Still in Shark

HumanResourcesThe high-profile Illyriad player known as “Josh” has dropped both of his accounts out of their respective Elgean powerhouse alliances and is reportedly using his unaffiliated HumanResources account to aid Stomp in the defense of embattled cities in Pawanallpa.

According to a comment left at the Times, HumanResources has hit SIN blockades on Valdorum’s cities of New Settlement and Leningrad. The report also reveals that the first attack on New Settlement by HR was sent while the account was still in Shark. The pasted combat report provided by SIN shows that the attack landed at 29 Jun 2015 04:13 server time. The Times confirmed from HR’s profile page that he did not leave Shark until later in the day:

HumanResources Dark Shade [SHARK] 30 Mar 2015 12:03 to 29 Jun 2015 12:48

SIN asked for the combat report to not be shared publicly, but stated that concerned alliance leaders could make a request to see it by contacting SIN leader Chandrian.

Josh’s two accounts have afforded him access to the two top alliances in the game. His HumanResources account has been in Shark since the end of March, while his PublicRelations account joined vCrow in early February. Both accounts, which are sizable, have cities in the Broken Lands: PublicRelations maintains a city in the High Hills called Untamed Generousity, while the HR account 5 cities in Pawanallpa. These Pawanallpa cities are likely fueling his efforts to defend embattled Stomp cities in the region.

In addition to the report from SIN, the Times also noted that Death’s siege against CleopatraMurk’s city of Pampas is now ended as well. It remains unclear if that siege was recalled by Death, or if it was broken by Stomps and/or HR forces.

This is not the first time that Josh has supported a small, upstart alliance on a singular mission. In late January, he put both his PR and HR accounts into the Censored Unicorn Cult [CUC], which was designed for the sole purpose of sieging Illyria Fairy Alliance leader TanyaFairy and declaring war on the affiliated Fairy Roads Authority [Roads].

Josh is said to be a superb fighter with strong tactical and strategic skills in the field. Whether he officially joins Stomp or not, his military prowess could be a major help in Stomp’s campaign into the Broken Lands, either as a defender or offensive player.

The Times asks players and alliances involved in this story to post clarifying remarks as comments under the story so that readers can have complete access to the reportage.
