BL-Based Trade Group Launches Website

A new group of traders operating in the Broken Lands have launched an off-game website, adding to the growing list of user-based Illyriad content. The Windmire Trade Partners are in the process of establishing a major trade hub at Windmire “to service the needs of the southern expanse,” according to comments sent to the Times.

So far, the Windmire Trade Partners have collected 18 merchants who have already sent traders to the Windmire faction hub, hailing from 11 different alliances. The group hopes that the hub can someday be considered “The Centrum of the South.”

The Windmire Trade Partners website is a well-developed site that includes a list of traders currently open for business in the hub, as well as a contact form for new traders to get involved. The site also maintains a news section covering the efforts to develop Windmire, as well as the Voices of Windmire blog for merchants and customers to communicate and share trade perspectives off-site.

Windmire will have competition in the south, as other hubs such as Hedgor’s Haven already offer BL buyers and sellers a relative robust trade selection. However, the Hegdor’s Have hub is far off to the east in Fellandire — Windmire, while farther south in proximity to Elgea, is overall more central to the entire BL continent.
