Agalloch Continues To Shine, Racks Up Second Raze

Screen Shot 2015-12-05 at 10.42.58 amIn spite of doing the lion’s share of sieging and siege breaking, Tuna leader and TUF co-founder Agalloch continues to have the troops and tactics to succeed in the Death/TUF-Tuna war. Today, Tuna confirmed that Agalloch racked up his second siege against Death, taking down Kratos’ city of Xanthia. Agalloch provided the battle report of the storm force:

Two opposing forces clash against each other.

Cavalry comes into its own when able to strike hostile forces at will, and from unexpected directions – and nowhere is this more feasible than on open plains. Lightly armoured spear units, however, prefer terrain where there’s some cover available.

Fighting defensively on open plains, cavalry draws strength from the ability to form and reform their lines of engagement depending on the direction of battle, and it is here where cavalry excels.

The successful siege is the second for Agalloch in the war, and only the second siege overall between both combatants. This was also the second time Kratos’ city of Xanthia was sieged. Curmudgeon broke the first siege on xanthia on January 24, 2016. That effort was for naught, as now the city is destroyed.

Kratos Under Siege By Agalloch Again as Xanthia Targeted For Second Time

Screen Shot 2015-07-10 at 7.27.01 PMMore doubling down on siege targets continue in the Death/TUF-Tuna war as Agalloch is once again leading the TUF-Tuna coalition against Kratos’ city of Xanthia. The Herald is reporting on the touch-down of the recent siege:

Kratos [Death] Xanthia [885|-1629] in Pawanallpa Agalloch [Tuna] Wed 27 Jan 23:59

The city of Xanthia is a prime target for sieging as it is positions amid a pyramid to its north and a monastery to its southwest — two building structures that avoid spectacular coverage for defense. Agalloch currently has both a siege and blockade on both squares.

This is not the first time Xanthia has been sieged in the brief but explosive war. According to the war’s Score Card, Death’s Curmudgeon broke the first siege of Kratos’ city of xanthia on January 24, 2016 — just four days ago.

Agalloch has been the primary combatant for the TUF-Tuna coalition so far, breaking an astounding 5 Death sieges and razing the only successful siege in the war thus far.

Tuna Strikes First Blood With Raze Amid Flurry of Siege Breaks

Screen Shot 2015-10-26 at 8.59.03 amA flurry of siege breaks over the weekend by Death and TUF-Tuna were overshadowed by Agalloch, who racked up the first official raze in the explosive, new Pawanallpa war. The Times was able to confirm that Agalloch’s siege of Kratos’ city of Hamunaptra was razed earlier today, server time. The siege battle pitted the respective field commanders of the two warring alliances against one another, with the contentious first siege likely to lead to further rounds as this war quickly progresses.

In addition to this raze, there has been numerous siege breaks on both sides as well. The siege on Gwendalynn’s [TUF] city of going to stand my ground [871|-1741] in Pawanallpa by Kratos [Death] was broken by Agalloch, who also broke a siege on his own city of .Megadeth.

For Death, the siege on Kratos’ city of xanthia was broken by Curmudgeon today.
A quick review of the War Score Card reveals that Agalloch and Kratos have largely been at the center of action, however, other alliance members are beginning to make key contributions to their alliances’ respective war efforts as well.
