Dlords’ Ranalos Breaks Multiple Fairy Sieges as Cornucopia-sized Siege Fails To Raze

Dlords’ Ranalos breaking one of a series of sieges as part of a major operation to topple his city of Dalekograd.

A series of sieges, which began with a reportedly cornucopia-sized reinforcement force from Fairy has ended in yet another decisive siege break for Dlord, who continue to string together unanswered razes and siege breaks in the ongoing war. Yesterday, the Times reported on the initiation of a new siege in Meilla by Fairy Erebus against Ranalos’ sprawling city of Dalekograd. Early unsubstantiated reports from GC suggested that the siege encountered execution issues by Fairy early on, with several reinforcing units bouncing off the siege camp, apparently the result of a new Fairy member mis-setting their units.

According to a reliable tip to the Times, however, Ranalos has rebuffed several siege camps, finally neutralizing the operation against his Meillian city. The Times updated the original report earlier when yet another siege from Erebus touched down, which, according to our tipster, was quickly dispatched by Dlords defense forces.

The graphic provided by the tipster shows “video” of one of the siege camps being hit and destroyed in the sequence.

According to the War Score Card for this war, this was Ranalos’ second major siege break, both of which reportedly involved him breaking multiple siege armies. In total, the Dlords have accrued 10 total points to the Fairies’ 1 point, and have racked up 10 unanswered points in the form of razes, captures and siege breaks since the first major war of the operation that led to Fairy breaking Belegar Ironhammer’s siege of Mellificient’s city of Veran,

The second operation in the war involving a Dlord siege led to the revelation that some members of Fairy were using an exploit allowing them to multiple commanders from the same city. Since the game developers have closed that exploit and banned several members of Fairy, the pixie-based alliance has yet to register another decisive win on the battlefield against their squatty rivals.
