Top-ranked alliance SHARK initiated its first offensive siege operation in its war with SIN, targeting the top-ranked defensive player in the game. News of what promises to be a major tussle in the eastern deserts of Kul Tar lit up GC earlier:

Later, the Herald posted details of the siege operation in its siege section:

He-Man’s trolling name for the city suggests that he likely faced VIC attacks prior to the landing of this SHARK siege, inferring that the two confederated alliances may in fact be coordinating their military efforts against He-Man in Kul-Tar and that He-Man has already faced VIC forces ahead of the siege. However, both alliances have been tight-lipped in explaining VIC’s involvement in the war and coordination with SHARK, with the only public statement coming from SHARK Elite Titan Legoman in a forum comment, who offhandedly remarked: “And to my knowledge we did not ask for VIC’s help, I could be wrong, but I haven’t seen where anyone in SHARK knows why VIC declared. We all can speculate and theorize, but until they say so we can’t know for sure.”
For now, SHARK has placed a single siege on the north desert plains above the city — similar terrain to the epic battle over He-Man’s city of Castle Grayskull in the western Elgean deserts during the STOMP/Claimers war, which was chronicled in a BIG HITS exclusive back in late July. While Stomps contained some of the key military accounts that SHARK boasts, including Ron Fay, Pico and Josh among others, He-Man is likely to face crushing odds from the likes of SHARK, who in spite of having a foothold in BL, are still a predominantly Elgean alliance with formidable armies and proven strategic skill to match.
Despite the odds, the “Original Desert Orc” as he calls himself on his profile is known to be able to fight out of tight spots in the past. The reputation and skill of both sides will make for a heavyweight showdown in Kul-Tar, no doubt.

Why go after He-Man first and not a more strategic effort twds someone else? Im sure He-Man prob welcomes the attack, he is a defensive expert and will eat Sharks troops….

Why? Because the city is in Elgea and that’s where they have all their power. That’s where all the power in the TVM v SHARK war came from and that’s where all the power is now because nothing has changed.
SHARK has made no secret of their intent and while TVM was unable to go toe to toe with them, SIN is an altogether different force to reckon with and they have their sights on the big picture.
