TUF officials shared details of the siege operation against Karl, which included two siege camps. The siege headed by Muad’Dib was broken at 08:04 today by Viperone. Later in the day, the second siege led by Curmudgeon was recalled, with the last catapult volley firing at 14:26. Currently, a blockade remains on the city.
Hours before recall, TUF pulled this scout report from Curmudgeon’s siege:
TUF’s Karl Aegis continues to be the most sieged player in the current and most recent wars involving The Unfettered. After recently being targeted by Dlords — even after they signed a peace accord with TUF — now Aegis is being sieged again, this time by YARR in the deserts of Pawanallpa.
The Herald’s siege section is reporting the information:
The siege is positioned of cracked desert plains and supported by two blockades. A blockade on the east square was reported broken by TUF’s croaker at 15:01 server time.
TUF has stopped the advance of a major YARR siege operation against Agalloch in the Pawanallpan desert in what appears to have been a riveting battle. TUF officials shared details of the final battle for Agalloch’s city of The Mark of Beast, which was apparently decided at the gates of the city. The siege camps reduced the city to raze population and then “attempted a storm and raze and failed at the gates.”
The storm force was that of Muad’Dib’s siege camp, which was the second one on the scene. Previously, TUF officials shared details of a break on the first siege that landed on the city, which was spearheaded by Curmudgeon. According to TUF, that first siege was broken on 09 May 2016 11:05 by smash’s forces.
A Times source familiar with the battle noted that there was heavy fighting with large hits on both the siege camp and city, and that there were large amounts of reinforcements in the city that large YARR cavalry hits were unable to fully break ahead of the storm.
Immediately after the end of the battle, it was discussed between both YARR and TUF combatants: Continue reading →
Imagine taken from eyewitness believed to be siege breaking army leaving Foot to the Throat battle.
SIN has repelled SHARK’s most recent round of sieges on BL positions, according to battle reports sent via SIN members. The reports reveal that while legitimate sieges, SHARK did not appear to coordinate any major siege planning on any of these recent sieges, suggesting that they were “one-off” sieges planned by single SHARK players in the BL.
This is the report from the broken siege at Stukahh’s “Foot to the Throat:”

Two opposing forces clash against each other. Cavalry comes into its own when able to strike hostile forces at will, and from unexpected directions – and nowhere is this more feasible than on open plains. Lightly armoured spear units, however, prefer terrain where there’s some cover available.
Fighting defensively on open plains, cavalry draws strength from the ability to form and reform their lines of engagement depending on the direction of battle, and it is here where cavalry excels.

Thus far, it appears that SHARK has not committed its Broken Lands troops to any major sieges against SIN in the BL, opting instead to target He-Man in the deserts of Kul-Tar, with the aid of confederates. These two defeated sieges still likely do not represent SHARK’s true capabilities of waging war in the Broken Lands.
SIN has re-engaged SHARK in its war for strategic conquest in the Broken Lands, breaking out its “Death squad” — a group of players from the Deathmongers who joined The Hashashin prior to the war — to target SHARK’s city of Skogstad in a operation with four siege armies. The Herald’s siege section posted the tightly-timed arrivals, spearheaded by Muad’Dib and ChuckNourish:

[925|-1742] in Pawanallpa
Muad’Dib [SIN]

Hevneren’s city of Skogstad has questionable placement of a city for a militarized alliance such as SHARK, sporting a building and five small forests surrounding the city. The Death squad is taking advantage of the favorable terrain.
Pawanllpa was the site of several major battles in the STOMP/Claimers war, and while it is a BL territory, is more susceptible to defensive cavalry clears from Elgea, depending on the proximity of the Elgean city and the besieged city’s ability to prolong the siege. SHARK does have a cluster of cities in Tallimar that could possibly reach the battlefield, however, with four siege camps firing at once, Skogstad’s population is bound to drop rapidly.
